Dr Gopika Gangupantula, MD (Dr. G) is a triple board-certified Obesity Medicine, Diabetes and Family Medicine physician who has been practicing since 2003.At Lotus Wellness and Weight Loss Center, we believe that losing weight is not just about looking better—it’s about living healthier. Dr. G approaches each person’s journey with a deep understanding that weight loss is a vital step toward overall well-being.  Many chronic diseases—including Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiovascular disease, and certain cancers—often have their root cause in obesity, making effective weight management a cornerstone of preventing and treating these conditions and promoting wellness and long-term health.Weight loss is certainly not easy, especially when our bodies seem to resist every effort.
